So happy with my deck reconstruction. While my deck was only 10 years old, it looked so much older as it was constructed using pressure treated wood, and after rehabbing it twice it looked awful. I now have TimberTech decking and stairs, black aluminum, and wood rails that will eventually be stained. The carpentry work on the rails and supports is first class and I love the combination of wood and composite. Thanks again to Fence & Deck Connection and my sales rep Joel Lewis for coming up with a new deck that now enhances my home instead of detracting from it.

I know that Fence and Deck Connection is a reliable and professional company because of my experience with a fence replacement some sixteen years ago. At that time, there were no permits needed as the new fencing used existing posts. With the current totally new vinyl fencing, the company handled all of the permitting processes required by the city of Annapolis and kept me up-to-date with the progress. Sales Representative Brian Hannon was very good at helping and making suggestions for the new fencing plan. The only hiccup in that process was partially my fault as I changed my mind after the fact as to the swing of the gate to agree with Mr. Hannon’s original suggestion. The “hiccup” was that the change was not made on the original rendering of the plan and the installation crew arrived with a plan for the gate to swing the way I had, at first, requested. Fortunately, I was at home and saw that the crew had a drawing showing the wrong swing and was able to correct the error. Project Manager William Lighthouse was extremely helpful and patient with this talky old man in giving precise information as to the process in his several visits all the way through the final inspection. I cannot thank him enough. The installation crew went above and beyond in doing an excellent job leading to a beautiful fence. They worked hard in dealing with the roots of a large oak right next to the fence. All were very friendly and helpful in response to my questions. They were professional in all ways. I will continue to highly recommend Fence and Deck Connection to all of my friends and neighbors.

Working with you (Steve Nehus) has truly been a wonderful experience. From the first day we met, you were very honest and down to earth. I felt no sales pressure whatsoever. You were able to answer all my questions and did not push anything on me. I really felt at ease knowing that you were just there trying to represent your company and your products and not pressuring me into anything. Your communication was also fantastic. Every phone call was answered and every email was answered in a timely manner. When it came time to sign the contract, you were extremely helpful in answering all my questions and most importantly, you were very honest and true to your word. Between the time of contract signing and when the project was supposed to begin, which was a couple of months, your communication was very open and you made sure to keep me in the loop. When it came time to meet with Mike, my Production Manager, he was also an extremely nice and down to earth guy. I could not have asked for a better person to work with. Mike listened to all my concerns and made sure that I was taken care of. What set him apart was actually feeling that he had my best interest at heart. After the installation was complete and we did the final walkthrough, we identified some issues both with the materials and the installation. Not once did Mike try to argue his way out of the issues. No matter how small, he took note of them and promised to address them. And that was what really set him apart; his kept promises. He addressed every concern I had and made sure that I was happy with the final result. Fence and Deck Connection is a company I wish every company would aspire to be. At the end of the day, customer satisfaction is your number one priority and it definitely shows. What makes a great company is the people that make up that company, and both you (Steve) and Mike were second to none.

Fence & Deck Connection was my first option because of the design feature on their website. I could see my yard in an aerial view and draw the fence where I wanted it placed. I could also choose the fence style and it gave me an estimated price. During my initial appointment, I was actually surprised it was much less than the website quoted! We had 3 visits before the build where a representative came out to mark the areas for the crew and a last walk through for specifics (downspouts, siding interference from being against the house, etc). The crew came onsite as scheduled and finished in one day! The Fence & Deck Connection team was very thorough and expedient. We needed to install a backyard fence for our dog. It is a large backyard and required almost 700 linear feet of fence. The sales consultants came out three times to measure, map and flag the fence design. They also coordinated the boundary surveyor, which enabled us to ensure we were constructing within our true property lines. We opted for the 5' High, 5-Board Ranch Rail Fence w/ Black Post Caps and wire mesh, which comes with a lifetime warranty (or as long as we own the house). Once the boundary survey was completed, the fence installation was scheduled quickly. The team arrived early in the morning and had all the posts in the ground with post concrete. They would have completely finished day 2, but it was raining. They still worked in the rain until the downpour became too severe to continue. They came back the next morning and were finished with the fence by noon. We also had one 5 foot gate and one 10 foot gate installed at that time. So far, we are completely satisfied with the results and it's comforting to know that they also provide unlimited gate adjustments for the first 5 years after installation. I would definitely recommend Fence & Deck Connections to friends and family. They are extremely professional and high quality.

I would like to thank Joel Lewis and the production team for supporting me through my journey while trying to decide what type of outside design space would work best for me.
